Running a Pricing Analysis

Each model includes a sample data set (OfficeStar) that can be found under the Tutorials dropdown on the Enginius Dashboard.

The remainder of the tutorials use the Bass OfficeStar data set as the starting data set.

To run Pricing analysis of the data you have loaded/prepared, click on the Price Optimization icon on the left side of the Enginius dashboard to open the Price Optimization run parameters:

The above dialog box will allow you to specify the parameters for the analysis you are about to run.

Pricing data

  • Select the appropriate data block names for Likelihood of purchase, Price levels and Respondents’ data.

Optional parameters information

  • Include market size information allows you to specify the total market size which will produce some extended data as described in the following section.
  • Include cost information allows you to specify fixed and marginal costs in the analysis report.  Note that to include fixed costs in the analysis, total market size must also be specified.

Your Enginius report can be generated in many different formats. Clicking the globe beside the Run button will allow you to select a new report format.

After selecting the desired model options, click  to generate the report in the desired format.
