How to subscribe to Enginius as a student

Your instructor will provide you a handout (see example below) that has detailed directions for getting started with the Enginius platform. This handout will contain either an eight digit or 16 digit code that is required to access the student materials specifically configured for your class.  

* If you are using the software independently of a class, please submit a copy of your student ID card to support@enginius.biz so that we may determine if you qualify for the academic software pricing.

Creating an account

The first step will be to create an account on the Enginius website:

1. Go to https://www.enginius.biz/index.php/registration/student/
2. Fill out the Student registration form.
   * To avoid any future issues with two factor authentication, it is highly suggested that you include your phone number when registering. Your phone number will ONLY be used for two factor authentication SMS messages if needed.
3. Confirm your registration by following the link in the confirmation email you will receive. If you believe you have not received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder first. If you cannot locate it, please contact us at support@enginius.biz.

Once you have confirmed your email address, you can proceed with obtaining the Enginius software. At the bottom of the handout will be either an 8-digit student purchase code or a 16-digit student license.

8-digit student purchase code

If you have an 8-digit student purchase code, you are responsible for purchasing the software package chosen by the instructor. The single purchase will provide you with the software models, business cases, and textbook chapters that your instructor has chosen to use in class.

To enter your 8-digit purchase code:

1. Go to https://www.enginius.biz/index.php/students/purchase-code/
2. Enter the 8-digit student purchase code (you will need to be logged in).
3. Complete the payment process. All major credit cards are accepted.
4. Your license will be created and automatically linked to your account.

16-digit student license code

If you have a 16-digit student license, your university has already purchased the Enginius software package for you. You will not need to purchase anything additional at the Enginius website.

To enter your 16-digit license code:

1. Go to https://www.enginius.biz/index.php/students/license-code/
2. Enter the 16-digit license code (you will need to be logged in).
3. Your license will now be linked to your account.

Accessing the student materials

All student materials included in the package created by your professor - software, business cases, and ebook (if included) - can be found under the "Dashboard" link.
